Ive been trying to find a good sit down chinese spot in VB, and saw this place was on the top 5 best chinese spots in the state of Virginia. I was excited to give it a try, but I honestly thought the food was okay. I come from SD and the chinese food doesn't even come close to (in my opinion), decent spots in SD. The twice cooked pork was probably the best dish I had out of the 4 we had. I thought the sweet and sour chicken was about average. The salt and pepper fish had decent flavor, but was still a pale comparison to the stuff out in SD. The soup dumplings were good. All in all, Im not sure if Id come back. I saw that there was a LA location in another review and maybe they can try and touch base with them? At least if they care enough. I think there is honestly a lot of potential at this establishment. If customer service was better and if they went the extra mile on the food, it would be an excellent addition to being a staple cuisine in VB.

A group of us came here for dinner on a weeknight while in town for a conference… it was quite a long drive from the oceanfront and convention center area, but was worth it. I called earlier in the day to see if we should make reservations, but was told they wouldn’t be busy. Well, we got there and while they had plenty of tables at 6:30PM, but 7PM that place was completely packed! They had lots of carry-out orders happening too, which all made the kitchen a little slow. We ordered many dishes to share and all started coming out one after another over the next hour until the beef & broccoli was the last dish. Again, I attribute the slowness of the kitchen to their being so busy. At least all the food that came out was very fresh, tasty, and piping hot. Some interesting items that were quite good were their potatoes and green peppers. This dish is something I’ve never seen before but was pretty good! It features long julienned potatoes that they clearly soak in water before wok’ing with the peppers – that was all that was in the dish, but it was still tasty. Their Fish in Chili Oil & Bean Sprouts was really tasty and fresh! The fish is flounder. Their spicy wontons in ch

Our organization had a truly wonderful celebration tonight at Judy’s. We welcomed over 80 guests, and from the moment we arrived, the restaurant owners greeted us with genuine warmth and incredible energy that carried through the entire evening. I had the pleasure of chatting with the husband-and-wife owners, who are down-to-earth, kind, and impressively attentive. The food was served quickly, each plate generously portioned, and every dish was authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Big portions, bold flavors, and not a single disappointed plate. Every bite was a treat. Our event lasted over three hours, and the team even welcomed us an hour and a half early to help us set up. Throughout the entire time, the staff remained polite, patient, and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. No stress, just hospitality done right. No matter the size of your group, if you are looking to host a celebration, I highly recommend this restaurant. We requested several special dishes not on the regular menu, and the owners were more than happy to accommodate us. You can speak directly with them, and they will work with you to find options that fit both your taste preferences and yo

My wife absolutely craves Chinese food. She is a fine connoisseur of all things dim sum. On a business trip I brought my wife to this restaurant and it’s all she can talk about. We have returned specifically to get more of Judy’s wontons in hot chili oil. This is not like the type of Chinese food you get beside a grocery store in a shopping center, I am going to guess it’s much more authentic. I like it, but my wife absolutely raves about it! We’ve tried several dishes and everything has been good. The general Tso chicken is pretty sweet with heavy orange flavor, but sometimes that’s a nice contrast to the numbing chilies in some of the other dishes. If you like hot spicy wontons, this is your place! The service is fast, efficient and friendly, the restaurant is clean and looks nice and is decorated well. We’ve only been there a few times because we only go when we’re in town for business, but it’s always full. To those about to nosh, we salute you with our chopsticks!
